1. Introduction

Welcome to Zeki ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Zeki mobile application (the "App"). Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of your personal data.

2. Age Restriction

The App is exclusively intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you are under 18, you must not download, register for, or use the App. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a user under 18, we will promptly delete that information. By accessing or using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your username, email address (e.g., zekidev@zekicard.com), a secure hash of your password, and any optional profile details you choose to provide (such as bio, profile picture, or other demographic information).
  • User-Generated Content (UGC): All content you create, upload, post, stream, share, or otherwise make available through the App. This includes, but is not limited to, text (comments, captions, messages), photos, videos, audio recordings, live streams, and other interactive or creative materials. Please be aware that your UGC may be publicly visible to other users depending on your privacy settings and the features of the App.
  • Communications: Information you provide when you contact our support team via zekidev@zekicard.com or through in-app communication channels.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: We collect detailed information about your interactions with the App. This includes the features and functionalities you use, the time and duration of your activities, the content you view, engage with, or share, your search queries, and your interactions with other users (such as follows, likes, comments, and messages).
  • Device Information: We collect technical information about the device you use to access the App. This includes your device model, hardware specifications, operating system type and version, unique device identifiers (like IDFA or Advertising ID), mobile network information (including carrier name and signal strength), browser type, language settings, and time zone.
  • Log and Diagnostic Data: Our servers automatically record technical log information when you use the App. This may include your IP address, device event information (such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings), the date and time of your requests and actions, referral URLs, and cookie data. We may also collect diagnostic information to monitor App performance and identify technical issues.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various legitimate business purposes, including:

  • To Provide and Maintain the App: To operate, maintain, and provide you with all of the features and functionalities of the App, including enabling social interactions, content creation, and sharing.
  • To Improve and Personalize Your Experience: To understand how you and other users use the App, to analyze usage trends and preferences, and to personalize your experience by recommending content, features, or other users that may be of interest to you.
  • To Communicate With You: To send you service-related communications, such as administrative messages, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages. We may also use your information to respond to your comments, questions, and requests.
  • For Safety, Security, and Integrity: To protect the safety, security, and integrity of the App, our users, and the public. This includes detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, abuse, security risks, technical issues, and conduct that violates our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
  • For Legal and Compliance Purposes: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests, and to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you, or other third parties.

6. Public Nature of User-Generated Content (UGC)

The App is designed as a social platform that encourages sharing and interaction. It is crucial to understand that any UGC you choose to share publicly on the App may be viewed, collected, used, saved, downloaded, screenshot, recorded, or shared by other users and third parties both within and outside the App. Once information is shared publicly, it may be difficult or impossible to control its further dissemination, and it may remain accessible in cached or archived pages of search engines or other services even after you delete it from your account or we delete it from our servers. We strongly urge you to exercise caution and careful judgment before sharing any personal or sensitive information in your public profile or in any public content.

7. Data Security

We implement and maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, acquisition, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. These measures include encryption of data in transit using secure socket layer technology (SSL/TLS), encryption of data at rest, strict access controls and authentication procedures, regular security assessments, and employee training on data protection. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
